Fantasia: Mickey & Broom Kubrick 2-Pack

Imported from Japan! Walt Disney married classical music to animation with his acclaimed 1940 film Fantasia. One of the film's most memorable sequences was "The Sorcerer's Apprentice." Built around Paul Dukas' 1897 symphonic poem "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," itself based upon Goethe's "Der Zauberlehrling," the animated segment has Mickey, an apprentice to a wizard, attempting to use his master's spells to get through the drudge work of his day, with comical results. This Kubrick 2-pack features Mickey, as he appeared in the short, and the enchanted broom that causes much consternation.

Imported from Japan! Pixar Animation Studios struck gold with their 2001 film Monsters, Inc. Everyone knows that monsters lurk in closets and under beds, but where do they come from? Monsters, Inc. answered the question, showing audiences the world in which the monsters lived and planned their scares. Sully and Mike are two of the monsters from the film, one voiced by Billy Crystal, the other by John Goodman, and now collectors can add them to their collection with this Kubrick 2-pack.

Imported from Japan! Walt Disney's second full-length animated film was 1940's Pinocchio. Based on the novel by Carlo Collodi, Pinocchio told the tale of a wooden boy, created by a shoe-maker, who wished to become a real little boy and the adventures he had in his quest. Pinocchio also introduced audiences to Jiminy Cricket, who would become one of Disney's most popular creations.
